University of Memphis: Ranked #3 Online PR Program

Online narrative shifting

If one positive thing came out of 2020 and the coronavirus pandemic, it was the expansion of the online world, specifically pertaining to business and education. Zoom flourished as an online platform that allowed businesses and schools to continue in a time where life itself slowed to a standstill. These factors were the straw that broke the camel’s back in a decade-long shift towards online academia (which can be explored extensively at EducationData.org).

What does this mean for UM?

Study.com has ranked the University of Memphis Public Relations program the number three Online PR program based on “accessibility, affordability, and several other factors from the U.S. Department of Education.” Considering 87% of current potential students use phones and tablets to research online programs (including me!), being ranked third in the nation is sure to give UM impressions among prospective applicants (educationdata.org)
