The year was 2010, many of us were youngsters jamming out to the Biebz and watching Disney Channel. Oh how times have changed ... or have they? Do you remember listening to radio hits like “Airplanes” by B.O.B or “California Gurls” by Katy Perry? Well those songs and many others are turning the big One Zero this year! Yep, these guys came out 10 years ago! Feeling old yet?

Who knew that a bop could come from singing about how miserable your life is? Adam Levine, that’s who!
2. “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj

Let’s all admit Blonde and Pink wig Nicki Minaj was a look. And Super Bass was an ultimate summer time favorite. Dear old Nicki, we miss you!
3. “ Waka Waka” by Shakira

Hits don’t lie! Waka Waka has been giving us, and the Fifa World Cup, life since 2010! Thanks, Shakira.
4. “Find Your Love” by Drake

Our true sentimental Scorpio King has served us hit after hit since his Young Money days. And he did not disappoint with “Find Your Love.” He was in his feelings then and never really found his way out.nonetheless we still love you, Drake! Keep on keeping on.
5. “Like a G6” by Far East Movement ft. The Cataracs

This song was playing everywhere nonstop in 2010, everyone was yearning to be #flylikeag6. Admit it, how many of us sang this song and had no idea what a G6 was?

This song was quite literally the self esteem boost teens and preteens needed to hear. We love a positive tune! Isn’t Bruno the sweetest?

We were not worthy of this bop! Countless covers have been made but no one can compete with the original vocal superstar that is Adele! We loved her then and we still love her now.
8.”Black and Yellow” by Wiz Khalifa

This song changed the game for many middle school sock hops! Everyone was wearing black and yellow, from the Chuck Taylor shoes to the hightop fades with the blonde patch. Oh the nostalgia! The ‘90s kids and Steelers fans around the country thank you for this evergreen hit, Wiz!

Willow Smith was younger than most of us when she made the iconic “Whip My Hair”, a mere 10 years old! This song was THE anthem for school aged kids during that time. Promoting hair diversity and positivity is what we love to hear!

Who didn’t love 2010 bowl cut Bieber? And who else could have tweens, who’ve never experienced romance, belting love songs from the depths of their diaphragms? This could only be done by the man himself, the Biebz. Were you a Belieber?
