The Rise of Skywalker took Twitter by Storm{trooper}

*WARNING: SPOILER ALERTS!

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker came out on December 20, 2019. Since then, Twitter and the Star Wars fan world has had plenty of time to decide how they felt about the new movie.

First, let’s talk Kylo Ren/Ben Solo.

Personally, my teenage brother and I found Adam Driver’s face perfect and hilarious for the role of Kylo Ren. He always had such a confused look on his face. But Driver played his role so well, I can’t even be mad at him for it. You could genuinely tell that he was dealing with a huge inner conflict. Even with the funny faces, I wanted him to join Rey and find the good in himself again.

Seriously though, Twitter seems to be really hooked on Kylo Ren’s journey to becoming Ben Solo again and his love story with Rey. At the end of the movie, he uses the last of his force to save her after she uses the last of hers to save him … and then he dies anyways. A real bummer.

Have you seen the new Star Wars in theaters yet? If not, sorry for spoiling the movie for you. If so, let me know in the comments what you thought about the ending. Do you think Ben Solo deserved more? Or do you think his past as Kylo Ren is unforgivable?
