A Year of Music in Review

Have you ever wondered whose music you’ve spent the most time listening to? Even down to the hour mark?

Apple Music released a new feature that recaps your year based on the music you listened to. This recap gives you the stats of your top songs, artists and albums, but also creates a playlist for you with the music you listened to the most.

Apple announced this new feature via Twitter in November. This new feature is competition to Wrapped on Spotify, which lets you listen to your most frequently played tracks.

To access your Apple Music Replay, all you have to do is go to Browse on your Apple Music app and select the “‘19 Replay” icon. From there, you will be redirected to the online site for Apple Music, where it will generate your ‘19 Replay.

Replay is also more than just a yearly feature. The playlist adjusts each week based on the changes in your listening patterns. Listening to Beyonce one week, but shifting to that new Billie Eilish next week? No problem. Apple Music keeps your playlist updated to what you’re currently listening to. This is a strong feature in comparison to Spotify Wrapped, which only updates around the holidays and the new year.

The best part of this entire feature? It’s free.

That’s right. You don’t have to pay a penny for Apple Music Replay to show you how many hours you spent listening to your top artists.
