Which one must go? The twitter fight over which popular candy people would be fine with not existing

Around Halloween every year, Americans debate different aspects of Halloween culture, such as what is the best “haunted” attraction around, which horror movie is the scariest, what Halloween candy is the best/worst, what is the best Halloween costume, etc. This year, however, an interesting debate has sprung up and it has people talking: which Halloween candy has to go?

On September 28, Liz Dueweke, a Seattle-based news anchor, tweeted a photo of six popular chocolate bars -- Reese's, Snickers, Milky Way, Kit-Kat, Twix and M&M’s -- lined up along with a caption saying, “One has to go. Forever. Which one do you choose?” The post quickly went viral and gained 2.7 thousand retweets and over 40,000 comments. The comments seemed to go after Milky Way pretty hard,

That post was from over a month ago--and it seems pretty clear that Milky Way is out of the rankings. Now that Halloween is upon us, it’s time to decide once more which candy must go. The website candystore.com posted a list of the top ten worst and best Halloween candies of 2019 -- funnily Milky Way did not make either list. Guess they’re just destined to be forgotten.

One candy must go, while the others get to stay. Here are the contenders:

Butterfinger, Hershey Bar, Kit Kat, M&M’s, Nerds, Skittles, Snickers, Sour Patch Kids, Reese’s, Twix.

Which of these candies would you be fine with not existing? Let us know!
