Memphis has momentum in the sporting world

If you haven’t checked, Memphis is on fire in the sporting world.

First things first. College Gameday is officially coming to Memphis to host their first ever College Gameday for the University of Memphis Football team. The Tigers will take on Southern Methodist University on ABC at 6:30 p.m. Yes, that’s primetime on ABC.

But that’s not it. The Memphis Tigers Basketball team is hotter than ever. They are ranked at #14 in the preseason polls, have the #1 recruiting class in the nation. They officially want all the smoke.

Last but not least, the Memphis Grizzlies future is looking brighter than ever. Ja Morant has arrived in Memphis, and he’s not looking back.

The young rookie dropped 30 points against Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets.

This goes to say, Memphis is a hot media market. For anyone who is possibly looking to start their career in sports, this is the place for you.

There’s tons of opportunity in the digital and social space with the Memphis Grizzlies, Tigers, Memphis Redbirds, and the 901FC as well.

Looking to become a reporter? There’s an opportunity for that as well, especially with the new newspaper in town The Daily Memphian.

So, if you’re looking to come to a place that isn’t as crowded as some other cities and is making some progress, make your way here.
