City Girls member, Jatavia Johnson (JT), was released from prison October 8 after serving more than a year behind bars on felony identity theft charges.
This has been a very long and anticipated wait, being that even though JT was in jail, she was still running the Billboard charts. City Girls had two of the biggest songs this year with “Act Up” and “Twerk” featuring Cardi B.
JT did not waste any time getting back in the studio, and dropped her “First Day Out” freestyle with in 24 hours of being released.
This seems to be a perfect time for JT to be free being that City girls’ Yung Miami just gave birth to her second child “Summer Miami.”
City Girls are back together, and are expected to release a new album in 2020!
