  1. Megan Thee Stallion

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is by far deserving of the number one spot of breakout stars in 2019. Creator of the catchphrase “hot girl summer” and songs like “Big Ole Freak”, “Cash Sh*t (feat Dababy)” and “Hot Girl Summer (feat Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign),” this hot girl herself is living her best life. The Houston Hottie continues to bring the heat as she recently signed with Jay Z’s label, Roc Nation. As Hot Girl Summer comes to an end, we can’t wait to see what Megan Thee Stallion or TIna Snow brings to the winter cold.

When we think of country rap, Lil Nas X should be the first to come to mind. The 20-year-old rapper released his hit single “Old Town Road” back in 2018, but the song didn’t gain popularity until 2019 with the #Yeehaw challenge on social media. The “Old Town Road” singer remixed his single with country artist Billy Ray Cyrus, and it became an international hit. The song remained at the top of Billboard Hot 100 for 19 weeks and he was awarded two MTV Video Music Awards including song of the year.
